United European Car Carriers is an international organisation with its head office based in Oslo, Norway. The company employs staff from a variety of nationalities, both in Norway and at other office locations across Europe. UECC has skilled professionals from many disciplines, ranging from marine personnel and logistics engineers to business economists and account management staff. Our seafarers are recruited from among the best qualified and are trained to the highest standards.
Today UECC has some 350 employees of whom 120 are working in our shore-based offices and terminals throughout Europe. The remaining 230 are seagoing personnel on-board UECC-owned vessels.

UECC is owned in equal shares by Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK) of Tokyo, one of the world's largest shipping companies and by Wallenius Lines of Stockholm, Sweden's foremost shipping enterprise. This ownership structure ensures a stable organisation and strong financial stability for the company.
