Welcome to United European Car Carriers - the leading provider of Short Sea RoRo transportation in Europe.

Our main business activity is the Short Sea transportation of factory new cars and light commercial vehicles for all the main automotive manufacturers, whom we have been proudly serving since 1990. We also offer transportation of various types of rolling & static cargo and support our shipping activity through the ownership and operation of a number of port-related terminals across Europe.

UECC’s broad route network, stretching from the Baltic Sea to the Mediterranean, provides connections from all major hub ports to match the distribution needs of European-based production, as well as providing feeder services to connect with inter-continental traffic.

Our aim is to deliver reliability through our broad liner service network and excellent customer service. We value the strong relationships we have built with our customers over many years and offer services that meet our customer’s needs and our ambitions. With our key port service suppliers, we work in partnership, constantly seeking productivity gains to maintain our competitiveness and drive down costs for our customers.

To safely carry 1.3 million units per annum, we operate a modern fleet of Pure Car and Truck Carriers (PCTCs). We deploy a combination of own purpose-built Short Sea vessels, together with tonnage from our two owners NYK of Japan and Wallenius Lines of Sweden and other vessel providers, giving us the flexibility to match fluctuating market demand. To support on-going requirements of our customers and the continued growth of our network, we plan to maintain improvements in our fleet profile, including the development of new ship designs to meet the most challenging of environmental standards.
