Oslo, Norway - 17.11.2017

UECC has recently loaded 7 x 62' mafis with locomotives in St. Petersburg onboard its dual-fuel LNG vessel M/V Auto Energy.

M/V Auto Energy is one of UECC’s two new dual fuel LNG vessels, trading on a weekly basis on our Baltic trade that includes Southampton, Zeebrugge, Bremerhaven, Malmö, Hanko, Gdynia and St. Petersburg.

Good planning along with joint efforts from ports, agents and crew, enabled us to successfully deliver a precise operational process as promised to our customers, in a timely and safe manner.

Each locomotive has a dimension of 18.60 x 3.10 x 5.10 and a weight of 80 tons.

UECC’s Head of High & Heavy, Mr. Sven Jansen is pleased to comment, “This shipment is a very good example of what our E-class dual fuel LNG vessels can carry on their 6000 sqm High and Heavy decks. With a ramp capacity of 160 ton, we can load a wide variety of High & Heavy commodities on own wheels or via mafi and this, with the most economic friendly vessels in short sea shipping.”
