At our terminals, we offer our customers smooth transitions from vehicle handling to receiving, storage, loading, and prompt releasing of units.
The operation and management of ro-ro terminals and intermodal hubs is an essential part of the vehicle delivery logistics chain. Our terminal operations can be tailored to individual customer needs.
WE OPERATE SPECIALIZED VEHICLE IMPORT AND EXPORT TERMINALS at a number of European ports, manned by our own staff or in cooperation with selected service partners. These include Pasajes and Vigo in Spain, and Zeebrugge in Belgium. The majority of the terminals have facilities for receiving vehicles by road and rail, linked directly to the port operations.
In addition to vehicle handling and storage, we are providing value added services such as pre-delivery inspection (PDI), vehicle de-waxing, cleaning, repair, wrap-guard fitment or removal, and mounting of accessory. In some cases full body building and technical workshop facilities also are available.
THE TECHNOLOGY WE USE and links to the customers’ systems have developed in sophistication since the establishment of the track and trace system in 1993. In addition to monitoring individual vehicle movements, we have developed web-based applications giving customers easy access to up-to-date tracking information.
OUR VEHICLE DISTRIBUTION and Terminal System provide the basis for successful management of vehicle terminal processes. The functionalities supported include receipt, validation and transmission of vehicle movement data, inventory management and the recording of any in-transit damage. In addition, we are able to interface with all current OEM systems to meet communication and reporting requirements.
