The situation between Ukraine and Russia has intensified significantly. Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has brought international condemnation and swift global sanctions. We note several customers have advised us of their intentions to refrain from shipping cargo to Russia in the current circumstances. The reduction in volume Russia bound, payment sanctions, and the uncertainty of the situation has left UECC with no other option but to temporarily suspend all services calling Russian ports effective immediately until further notice. This decision has not been made lightly, but we trust you will understand and support our decision. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and update you should there be any further material change to this notification.
